4Matic
4Matic is the designation of Mercedes-Benz to drive all four wheels on a system using electronically controlled 4ETS.
This is a permanent four-wheel drive vehicles used in Mercedes-Benz. Drive is realized through the system 4ETS. 4Matic system improves handling and traction ability of a car through the transmission performance of all four wheels. Partition transmission with an open central differential distributes torque between the axles. Mercedes-Benz models are equipped with 4Matic system 4ETS traction. The braking system 4ETS targeted interventions to three prokluzujících wheels replaced feature three differentials.
