EFE (Early Fuel Evaporation )
The pre-intake pipes.
EFE originated from the English Early Fuel Evaporation – the rapid evaporation of the fuel. The system used for karburátorových engines enable fast evaporation of the fuel in the carburetor, thereby facilitating the creation of a mixture of cold engine. The engine of this system has a lower consumption and emissions. Preheating may be provided either through proximity to the exhaust pipe, or the electric heating (eg GM cars).
